Website update 20/9/2021

A quick update today with some more features and some more style!

In the last update I talked about the word searches that had been added. Today we have added more word searches concentrating on KS4 and specifically aimed at the OCR Computer Science specification.

Word searches are great as a quick starter or if you want students to specifically concentrate on vocabulary for the lesson.

The next update is that we have decided to add a bit more style into the pages. While we’ve been developing the site, many pages have been left rather text heavy (sorry!), so in this update we’ve started to add some images just to break everything up a bit more and make the site seem a little more pleasing to the eye.

Going forward we’ll try and add in a few more images as well!

A final update that we made today was that we decided to get rid of the direct link to www.ismypasswordsecure.co.uk from the main menu and instead make this a link to a page within the site instead with the option of going to the site from the internal page.

It felt a little bit too random directing users off to another site all of a sudden from the main menu system and was probably a very disorientating experience! The user is now directed to a page on this website where they can then click on the link to go to the external site so at least they can choose to go to it instead of being thrown out without them knowing!
