A lot of digital images are made up of tiny squares called pixels. If you zoom into pictures too much you start to see these blocks.
Old games used to use ‘blocky’ pixels as these were all that computers could handle at the time.
Have a go at making your own pixel art using either the 8 x 8 canvas (8 blocks high by 8 blocks wide) or the 16 x 16 canvas.
