Christmas coding challenges

Have a go at programming Santa’s naughty and nice list checker.

You’ll use lists, variables and inputs to create a program for Santa that checks names on a naughty list. On the challenge part you will be saving this list to a file.

Christmas pixel drawing with co-ordinates

A multi-use task that can be used to explain and reinforce colour depth, bitmap images, co-ordinates in maths, grid references in geography or arrays in computer science.

Students use the given co-ordinates to create a pixel drawing of a Christmas tree
