{"id":4361,"date":"2022-04-04T09:48:46","date_gmt":"2022-04-04T09:48:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/computerscienced.co.uk\/site\/?p=4361"},"modified":"2022-04-04T09:48:52","modified_gmt":"2022-04-04T09:48:52","slug":"happy-birthday-to-us-4-years-old-today","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/computerscienced.co.uk\/site\/happy-birthday-to-us-4-years-old-today\/","title":{"rendered":"Happy Birthday to us &#8211; 4 years old today"},"content":{"rendered":"<script id=\"wps-confetti-trigger-wps-confetti-block-1261\">window.addEventListener( \"load\", function() { \t\t(function() {\n\t\t\tvar base_settings = confetti_instances['default'];\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tvar instance_settings = base_settings;\n\t\t\t\t\t\twps_run_confetti( instance_settings );\n\t\t})();\n\t\t } ); <\/script>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">4 years ago today, I decided that there was not enough online resources for computer science aimed at GCSE, A-Level students and teachers so decided on a domain name and clicked the purchase button.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The site has grown a lot since 4 years ago with lots of new features added and lots planned for the future.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here&#8217;s to another 4 years!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I&#8217;d have loved to do something special for our 4th birthday &#8230; However &#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you&#8217;ve been following us, recently you&#8217;ll have noticed that there hasn&#8217;t been as much activity on the site.  Unfortunately I&#8217;ve been busy with other projects and due to the way that prices have shot up have had to prioritise activities that bring in some cash.  While the advertising on the site does help &#8211; it only just about covers hosting and domain name fees and unfortunately I&#8217;ve not had any offers of sponsorship for the site as of yet.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After Easter this situation will hopefully change and I should be able to devote a little more time to the site and introduce some more features that I&#8217;m really excited about.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Appreciate that this is a shorter post than usual, but I thought it important to recognise the site turning 4 and also felt it necessary to update you on the current situation as it has been far too long!
